Bangalore , March 4

BEL has contributed Rs 8.13 lakh to the Divine Light Trust for the Blind at Whitefield, Bangalore.

The Divine Light-BEL Golden Jubilee Computer Training Centre will provide computer literacy for the visually impaired, children with limited vision and economically backward youth of neighbouring villages. The horticulture unit is part of the community-based rehabilitation programme and will give horticultural therapy and training to physically challenged persons who cannot complete schooling.

The Divine Light-BEL Golden Jubilee Vocational Training Centre will train the hearing impaired, physically challenged and youth from the neighbouring villages.
