Workshop on IPR in Hyderabad

HYDERABAD: The National University of Law (Nalsar) and the Andhra Pradesh Press Academy will organise a workshop on intellectual property law, with a special focus on copyright on March 13 at the Press Club, Hyderabad.

Copyright — an intellectual property right dealing with the literary/artistic/dramatic and cinematographic works, has assumed a central role with the advent of Internet and digital technologies.

The workshop, being organised by the Dr N.C. Banerjee Centre for Intellectual Property Rights of Nalsar, would be sponsored by the Ministry of Human Resources. Participants would be drawn from working journalists, those involved in the legal/advertisement, information technology and photography wings could also benefit, according to a release from Nalsar.
