Promotional scheme during Indo-Pak series

LG Electronics has earmarked Rs 50 crore to promote its products during the Indo-Pak series and has launched a consumer offer "LG Cup Uthao, Shandaar Inaam Pao."

This offer will be on from March 10 to April 15.

The company's promotional spends will be on print and electronic media, below-the-line activities and gifts. Mr Girish V. Rao, Head (Sales), LG Electronics, said the company aims at selling more than 10 lakh products during the series.

In Chennai, which will have a limited viewership of the cricket series because of the conditional access system that is in place, the company hopes to sell around 10,000 sets, he said.

The promotion will give the consumer gifts on every purchase of an LG product, except commercial air-conditioners. The gifts will range from projection televisions, audio systems, My PC, GSM phones, Tromm refrigerators, floor standing air-conditioners, Dios refrigerators as well as full-size bats autographed by LG captains of India, Saurav Ganguly, Krishnamachari Srikkanth, Ravi Shastri and Sunil Gavaskar.
