Fire accident at Suryalata unit in AP

Hyderabad , March 10

SURYALATA Spinning Mills Ltd has informed the stock exchanges that a fire accident occurred due to short circuit of electricity on Tuesday at one of its factories situated at Kalwakurthy in Andhra Pradesh.

The company said the machines and stocks situated at one department were damaged. All these machines and stocks were fully covered under insurance. As the fire occurred only in one department, the company expects to restore production levels within three to four days. However, it did not indicate the likely loss due to interruption in production process.
