CAS trouble

Ever since the Information and Broadcasting Ministry took decided to implement the Conditional Access System (CAS) in the four metropolitan cities, it has been absolute chaos. That CAS has been implemented totally in Chennai and some parts of Delhi speaks volumes about the inconsistency in the policies. All said and done, the residents of Chennai have become the scapegoats forced to bear the brunt of the inconsistent policies.

With no apparent permanent solution in the near future, the surging animosity between the multi-system operators (MSO) and the local cable operators undoubtedly foretells a bleak future.
