Rubber market eases a tad

Our Correspondent

Kottayam , March 11

THE rubber market declined slightly on Thursday though there were indications for improvement on the previous day.

RSS 4 closed at Rs 55-75 against Rs 56 a kg. The absence of selling pressure brought down the prices, the traders said. The TOCOM April futures for RSS 3 goes at 132 yen as on Wednesday. The same rate appeared unchanged at Rs 60-61 at Bangkok.

The futures market continues to be slightly weak on Thursday. The near month April delivery was quoted at Rs 56.96 (Rs. 57.29), May delivery at Rs 59.08 (Rs. 59.23) and June delivery at Rs 61.29 (Rs. 61.49) per kg for RSS 4. The March delivery moved down Rs 55.81 a kg.
