Automobile Components MICO net up 75 pc Our Bureau
Bangalore , March 11 AUTO parts maker, Mico has posted a 75.32 per cent increase in net profit during 2003 to Rs 235.04 crore on net sales of Rs 1897.88 crore which rose 22.38 per cent. For the fourth quarter of 2003, Mico's net profit increased 30.51 per cent to Rs 51.84 crore, while net sales grew 27.84 per cent to Rs 508.76 crore. The board has recommended a final dividend of Rs 65 per equity share for the year. For the entire year, auto products contributed 92 per cent of the total sales compared with nearly 94 per cent of total sales during 2002. Auto products contributed 90 per cent of the total sales for the fourth quarter of 2003 compared with 93 per cent.
