Steelage hopes to double turnover

Mumbai , March 11

GUNNEBO Asia Pacific, a security solutions company, is looking to triple its turnover by three times in three years to euro 150 million.

Steelage Industries Ltd, a subsidiary of the Gunnebo Security Group, has a similar task to double its Rs 80 crore turnover in the next three years.

The Indian arm has invested Rs 13 crore in modernisation of its plant at Halol, Gujarat. The Group intends to strengthen its position in the Asia Pacific region. "We would like to dedicate resources to exploit the potential of this market,'' Mr Bjarme Holmqvist, President & CEO, Gunnebo Worldwide, said.

During 2004, the Group will be looking at acquisitions. The last two years were the consolidation years for the group, he said.
