Telecommunications Touchtel offers range of tariff plans for TN Our Bureau
Chennai , March 15 TOUCHTEL, the fixed line telephone service provider, has announced a range of tariff plans with free talk times that offset monthly rentals and feature low call rates for Tamil Nadu. According to a press release from Touchtel, the monthly rentals under the tariff plan dubbed `Minute-Magic Tariff Plan' are Rs 499 which comes with a free talk time of Rs 495 and local call rate of Re 1.10 a minute; Rs 999 with a free talk time of Rs 1,000 and local call rate of Re 1; and Rs 1,495 with free talk time of Rs 1,575 and local call rate of 90 paise. STD calls up to 100 km outside Tamil Nadu circle will cost Rs 1.69 a minute; up to 500 km Rs 2.99; and beyond 500 km Rs 3.99. ISD calls to the UK will cost Rs 6.99 a minute; to the US, Canada and Europe Rs 8.99; to Gulf countries Rs 18.99; and anywhere else Rs 15.99.
