STMicro succession plan

NEW DELHI: Semiconductor manufacturer STMicroelectronics on Monday announced a succession plan according to which Mr Carlo Bozotti will take over as the President and Chief Executive Officer from Mr Pasquale Pistorio in 2005.

Mr Alain Dutheil will be named Chief Operating Officer. The appointments will be subject to approval of the company's shareholders at the 2005 Annual General Meeting, a company release said.
