Hyderabad , March 15

HATHWAY Cable Internet has introduced a new limited special offer scheme for Hyderabad where subscribers can access broadband cable Internet without paying any rental charges for cable modem.

With this offer, Hathway lowers the cost of broadband cable Internet subscription to introduce more subscribers to broadband services.

Hathway has also announced true broadband packages of 128 kbps for as low as Rs 300 per month. These new packages will make the cable Internet a cost-effective way to access the Web.

According to a Hathway communiqué, these offers are aimed at lowering the entry price of broadband cable Internet to attract mass subscribers. Hathway's Internet access speed has been increased from 64 kbps to 128 kbps.

Earlier, its entry price was Rs 650 for a speed of 64 kbps. Slashing by more than half, the subscribers can now access 128 kbps Internet connections for Rs 300.

Hathway provides broadband cable Internet services in select areas of Hyderabad where the company subscribers can access high speed Internet connection through cable modem without the use of telephone lines, dial ups and login hassles.

A major cable ISP, Hathway offers broadband Internet services in eight cities across Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune, Nashik and Ludhiana.

Part of the Rajan Raheja Group, the company has already launched its digital conditional access services in Chennai and South Delhi and will soon roll out in other parts of the country. In partnership with STAR, the company plans to launch digital interactive TV across the country.
