Film songs competition

HYDERABAD: With a view to encouraging budding singers, Balasubrahmanyam Arts and Music Academy (BAMA) of Kavali is organising a national-level film songs competition on May 2. In a press release here, Mr L. Sudhakar Reddy, Secretary of BAMA, said singers in the age group of 15-30 years could take part in the competition. Mr Vandemataram Srinivas, music director, would be the judge, it added. Winners would be felicitated by noted playback singer, Mr S.P. Balasubrahmanyam.
