THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Water level at the three major reservoirs in the State declined when compared to those recorded during the last week.

According to figures released by the Central Water Commission, at Idukki, the largest reservoir, the level declined to 2,321.99 ft from 2,323.88 ft. At Kallada, the level receded to 339.01 ft from 341.93 ft and at Idamalayar, 459.42 ft from 462.76 ft. However, year-on-year readings reveal that the level is higher by 10.85 ft at Idukki, 4.43 ft at Kallada and 23.63 ft at Idamalayar.
