Workshop on farm research

Our Bureau

HYDERABAD: The National Academy of Agricultural Research Management (NAARM) here would be holding a workshop on "Performance Assessment of Agricultural Research Organisations" on March 20.

NAARM has been entrusted with the task of developing a more realistic methodology for assessing the performance of agricultural research organisations under the World Bank supported National Agricultural Research Technology Project (NATP).

Accordingly, it has developed a basic methodological framework that was field tested, on a pilot scale, in a few selected research institutions of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research and Agricultural Universities in the country. In a press release here on Wednesday, NAARM stated that workshop was being held to critically examine the methodology developed before it was finalised for wider adoption.
