E-Commerce & E-Business Satyam, Actuate set up centre in Malaysia Our Bureau
Hyderabad , March 17 SATYAM Computer Services Ltd on Wednesday announced it has signed a regional partnership with the Nasdaq-listed Actuate Corporation, an enterprise reporting applications provider, to collaborate in the Asia Pacific region. Following this move, the Satyam-Actuate Centre of Excellence will be set up at Satyam's Global Solutions Centre in Cyberjaya, Malaysia. This centre currently has 24x7 access to Satyam's global knowledge repository, which can be leveraged to deliver solutions to customers across the globe. Together, Satyam and Actuate will help organisations in the region to enhance their business intelligence initiatives through the deployment of Actuate's solutions. Satyam has trained and certified 20 consultants to provide Actuate pre-sales support and services delivery to customers across the region, with plans to increase this number. The Senior Vice-President for Asia Pacific, Satyam Computer Services, Mr Virender Aggarwal, in a statement said, "We chose to partner Actuate as it offered a solution for enterprises looking to equip its users with an enterprise reporting tool that is both scalable and easy to use." Mr David Runacres, Managing Director, Asia Pacific, Actuate, said, This will bring us to the next level of market penetration and help consolidate foothold in this region."
