Hyderabad , March 17

MENSAMIND, an enterprise software solutions company, has launched a global multimedia mobile blogging portal that enables mobile camera phone users to instantly publish text, pictures, audio and video inputs from the camera phones.

This is possible with camera phones anytime, anywhere using the multimedia messaging system on various technology platforms such as GPRS, CDMA and 3G mobile networks.

Mensamind is in parleys with several telecom operators across the globe including some domestic players to offer these services, which would extend and expand the value-added services in the mobile industry. It is holding talks with the Andhra Pradesh Police Department and a leading Finnish mobile operator to offer these solutions.

Addressing a press conference here today, the Chief Executive Officer of Mensamind, Mr Ken Kinsella, said that Mensablogs is well positioned to harness the potential multimedia publishing offers on the Web and other channels. It is not just text or pictures; Mensablogs offers features that allow customers to record their moments in video-audio formats using a mobile camera phone and publish it as a rich media content.

This service is offered free for all camera phone consumers. Mensamind has partnered with popular Web site Indiainfo.com where users can publish, archive, manage and share pictures, audio and video inputs. As prices of these mobile phones with camera features fall, the usage of such facilities would go up, Mr Kinsella said.

The company is in talks with media publishing houses, insurance, law enforcement agencies engaged in mapping and deploying camera-based rich media content publishing, collaboration and services across multiple channels.
