Software Corporate - New Projects Cybage Software plans unit near Microsoft HQ Our Bureau
Pune , March 18 THE Pune-based Cybage Software Pvt Ltd has chalked out plans for setting up a subsidiary in Redmond, US, this year. Talking to presspersons, Mr Arun Nathani, Chief Executive Officer, Cybage, said the primary objective of the Redmond subsidiary is to extend offsite capabilities to Microsoft by positioning business analysis and architects in its vicinity for better integration and visibility. It is also planning to open offices in Boston, San Francisco and Los Angeles in the next one year, he said. Cybage is positioning around 20 professionals at its new office, which would be headed by Microsoft Relationship Manager. The investment on the Redmond subsidiary is $1 million, he said. Mr Nathani said from the present 500 people, the company is also planning to induct about 300 additional software professionals and the target for the is to have a headcount of 1,000 software professionals by 2005. The company has recently shifted into a new building with an investment of Rs 15 crore. The company is also on the lookout for another facility, close by, as Pune was becoming a major IT hub, he said. The company was also looking at listing in a couple of years' time, he added.
