81 cos registered during Feb in Kerala

KOCHI: A total number of 81 companies, including two big size companies, were registered in Kerala during February. Out of this, one is a public limited company with total authorised capital of Rs 10 lakh and the rest 80 are private limited companies with authorised capital of Rs 528.7 lakh.

As many as 49 cases were filed during the month for violation of various provisions of the Companies Act and Rs 49,900 was imposed as fine by the court against companies and directors. During the period, two companies went into liquidation and one company amalgamated. Fifteen companies changed their names and one company converted from public to private and vice-versa during the month.
