Rainwater harvesting in Hyderabad

HYDERABAD: As part of efforts to encourage artificial recharge to ground water, the Ministry of Water Resources has selected Osmania University Library and Arts College buildings for constructing rooftop rainwater harvesting structures.

The Central Ground Water Board would provide technical guidance to complete the project. Work on the Rs 24.10-lakh project would begin on March 22, a Government release said.
