Advertising IMAG beefs up management with executive council Our Bureau
Mumbai , March 19 LINTAS India's Integrated Marketing Action Group (IMAG) has geared itself to handle the rapid growth that it has been experiencing in the last few months. In a recent development, IMAG has formed an Executive Council, comprising presidents of different units under its fold. The Executive Council members will be responsible for the overall IMAG product and delivery, in addition to that of their own units. Also joining the Executive Council of IMAG, as the Creative & Strategic Planning Director, is Ms Usha Bhandarkar, who has built several brands and trained several senior professionals who head various creative departments in the industry today. Besides the Director - IMAG, Mr Ashish Bhasin, who is driving the IMAG business at Lintas, the Executive Council will include Ms Usha Bhandarkar (Creative & Strategic Planning), Mr Debashis Das (Linterland), Mr Chandradeep Mitra (Lowe Personal and Lowe Healthcare), Mr Ameer Ismail (LinOpinion & Advent), Mr Sabyasachi Mishra and Ms Colette Austin (d-Cell). "To provide a true brand experience to the consumer and to provide clients with a single window, integrated communications product, IMAG was set up last year. This has been such a success and is such a high growth area for us that we need to gear ourselves for larger challenges. We probably have more business that we can handle in most of our units, so we need to ramp up. We are also entering new areas of business almost on a regular basis. This needs a robust, senior managing team, hence, the Executive Council. It has cherry-picked professionals, best in their fields in the country today," said Mr Ashish Bhasin, Director-IMAG, Lintas India. IMAG comprises Linterland (9,000-strong rural communications network), Lowe Personal (DM & CRM), Lin Opinion (PR), Advent (Events), d-Cell (Design), Lintertainment (Entertainment Marketing), Lowe Healthcare (Healthcare and advertising) and Aaren Initiative (Outdoor).
