Kochi , March 23

TO meet the growing needs from its customers in the city, Citibank has launched extended banking hours at its Kochi branch. In addition to the normal banking hours, its full service branch at Kochi will offer extended banking hours till 6.30 p.m. on weekdays.

In a statement issued here Mr Sarvesh Sarup, Country Business Manager, Global Consumer Group, Citibank India, said: "We have a deeply entrenched relationship with the people of Kerala, forged when we pioneered NRI business way back in the 1980s. Today that franchise has grown and expanded to our customers who are based in Kerala and we are constantly looking for opportunities to serve them better. One of the more frequent requests has been for our Kochi branch to remain open longer."

During these extended banking hours, customers can access Citibank's best-in-class services to serve their personal as well as their business needs, including cash and other banking transactions. In addition to these across- the-counter services at the branch, customers will soon be able to access Citibank's 24-hour banking services as well.

"We are setting up a brand new offsite ATM centre located in the city, which will offer 24-hour banking through our remote access banking services," Mr Sarup said.

The branch offers a wide array of products like Citibank savings account, fixed deposits, investment services, Citibank current account, credit cards, debit cards, personal loans, auto loans, durable finance, insurance and NRI services. Corporate customers can avail themselves of world-class services through CitiBusiness, the press release said.
