Our Bureau

KOCHI: Peopleone Consulting (POC), the Chennai-based HR solutions company, has decided to move the franchise way to further expand into Tier 2 and 3 cities. It plans to cover 40 cities across India through this module.

This expansion plan is in addition to its existing presence in seven locations in India and West Asia. The first phase of operations will see expansions in the cities of Kochi, Thiruvananthapuram, Mangalore, Mysore, Goa, Coimbatore, Pondicherry, Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada, Chandigarh, Lucknow, Allahabad, Kolkata, Ahmedabad and Jamshedpur.

Mr Sudhakar Balakrishnan, COO, Peopleone, said that this drive has been launched to tap the cities that offer significant growth opportunities and where the company did not have an existing presence.

The Peopleone franchisee would work to provide their clients HR services such as recruitment, training and temporary staffing. The franchisee would be supported by POC in terms of know-how and networking, he said.

The company is targeting professionals, first generation entrepreneurs and local players in the HR space as the franchisees, he added.
