Wyeth shuts down Mumbai plant; `evaluating' options

Mumbai , March 25

WYETH Ltd has shut down its manufacturing facility in Mumbai and is "evaluating its options for the future".

Mr R.R. Iyer, Managing Director, told Business Line that the facility was a chemical process plant and had about 200 persons working in it.

The company is evaluating its options, both in terms of the plant and people involved.
