Mishra gets addl charge at CBEC

New Delhi , March 26

IN a portfolio reallocation at the Central Board of Excise and Customs (CBEC), Mr B.K. Mishra, who had recently been appointed as Member-Legal and Judicial, would now also be in charge of Service Tax.

Mr B.K. Mishra, who was Director-General (Audit), Delhi, and Member responsible for Service Tax, would now look after matters relating to anti-evasion, official sources said.

Besides him, the CBEC has another new member in Mr Siddharth Kak. Both Mr Kak and Mr Mishra are from the 1968 batch of the Indian Customs and Central Excise services.

Mr Kak, who was DG (Vigilance), has taken charge as Member-Customs, He would also look after matters relating to export promotion.
