Technical exhibition at Nitte

MANGALORE: Nitte Mahalinga Adyanthaya Memorial Institute of Technology (NMAMIT), Nitte, in association with the Department of Technical Education, Bangalore, will host a State-level technical exhibition, `Do it yourself,' at Nitte in Udupi district on April 2 and 3.

According to a NMAMIT press release, all engineering colleges and polytechnics in the State would participate. More than 200 projects will be on display at the exhibition.

The Vice-President of Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Ltd, Mr V.K. Thalithaya, will inaugurate the exhibition. Ms Shobha Nambisan, Principal Secretary, Department of Higher Education, will be the chief guest. Mr N. Vinay Hegde, President of Nitte Education Trust, will preside over the function.

The Chairman of Karnataka Bank Ltd, Mr Anantakrishna, will deliver the valedictory address on April 3. Prof K. Basavaraju, Director of Technical Education, will preside over the function, the release added.
