Hyderabad , March 29

SELF-help groups' (SHGs) movement has become a model for women empowerment in the State and this is reflected from over Rs 2,000 crore corpus created by small contribution of Re 1 per day from women members of this SHGs. These empowered women could decide the political fitness in the State over the next few weeks when they overwhelmingly go out to caste their vote.

The Chief Minister, Mr N. Chandrababu Naidu, after inaugurating Xclusive, a fitness centre for women from the House of Dinaz's, said that as opinion makers, women have the capability to decide the `political fitness' of various parties.

Seeking a mandate for continuity and development, Mr Naidu said that the TDP-BJP combine would strive hard and ensure that reservation was provided for the women.

At a meeting where doctors, lawyers, housewives and even senior citizens of the fair sex were present, Mr Naidu sought to impress upon them the need to take informed decisions when it comes to choosing a leader of their choice.

Cutting across age groups, and braving the scorching sun, women had gathered at the exclusive fitness centre inaugurated by Dinaz's in the posh Jubilee Hills area.

Dinaz' exclusive centre for women fitness provides a range of fitness and training modules that suit people across various age groups an representing various walks of life.
