New Delhi , March 29

JET Airways announced on Monday that it would operate an evening flight with an ATR-72-500 aircraft on the Bangalore-Kochi-Bangalore sector.

The airline will also operate a Boeing aircraft on the Mumbai-Nagpur-Mumbai sector, apart from offering an additional Boeing 737 flight on the Delhi-Leh-Delhi sector. The additional flight will be operated between June 1 and August 31 this year.

These flights are to be part of the airline's summer schedule that came into effect on Monday.

Meanwhile, Singapore Airlines announced that it has added two day flights on the Mumbai-Singapore-Mumbai sector from Sunday. This is in addition to the thrice-weekly day flights, which were launched in October last year.

The day flights are to operate on Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

In addition, Thai Airways International has also started operating a four-times-a-week non-stop service between Bangalore and Bangkok.

The flight is to operate every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.

The flight will leave Bangkok at 7.20 p.m. and arrive in Bangalore at 9.30 p.m. In the return direction, the flight will leave Bangalore at 10.30 p.m. and arrive in the Thai capital at 3.50 a.m.
