Friends Globe plans to open doors in South

New Delhi , March 30

TO cater to the needs of the corporate traveller, Friends Globe Travels Ltd plans to open its doors in several southern cities, including Kochi, Coimbatore, Thiruvananthapuram and Visakhapatnam shortly.

In an interview with Business Line, the Company's Managing Director, Mr Rahul Nath, said that while the Visakhapatnam office will open on April 1, that in Coimbatore and Kochi would open simultaneously in July.

"We hope to open the Thiruvananthapuram office in September this year. We already have a presence in South and service major corporates such as Mindtree, Digital, i-flex Solutions, among others, in Bangalore," Mr Nath said.

The opening of the offices in South India is part of an expansion plan drawn up by the company, which plans to open 18 new offices within the year. Friends Globe, which has nine offices around the country at present, plans to open offices in Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Bhubaneshwar and Nagpur, among other cities, in the next one year.
