The Hindu Business Line : Oscar launches DVD player at Rs 4,290

TAKING forward the company's value-for-money proposition, Oscar International Ltd has a DVD player priced at Rs 4,290. Called Oscar 9100, the product has multi-playback option and plays DVD, VCD, ACD, MP3, CD-R and SVCD.

Some of its features are 5.1channel Dolby Digital sound output, MP3 decoder, and progressive scan for better picture.

The DVD player is just 39 mm in height and comes with a 6-month warranty, according to a company communiqué. The set is currently available across the markets in the country.

The Oscar DVD series also includes DVD 9500. This too is compatible with multi-formats such as DVD, VCD, ACD, MP3, CD-R and SVCD. It has a 5.1channel Dolby Digital sound output, MP3 decoder, and progressive scan at a price of Rs 3,990.
