Software Cerebra bags £100-m project Our Bureau
Bangalore , March 30 CEREBRA Integrated Technologies Ltd, a Bangalore-bred total-IT solutions company, has bagged a large project from the UK-based IT solutions company with a turnover of more than £100 million The project is for the development of Web-based software solution to facilitate easy communication for the hearing impaired. The project will be delivered to the customer within six months. Mr Ranganathan, Chairman and Managing Director, Cerebra, saidthe project would be completed in three phases of its estimated six months time. The process includes enhancement of existing application followed by development of Messenger application for PalmOS and dealing with the development of Messenger application for Pocket PC. Typically the application is meant for the speech/hearing impaired to communicate with either speech/hearing impaired or normal people. "The trend of going wireless has begun to take a niche and this project will help Cerebra improve upon its already existing wireless and embedded VC++ skills". "This project helps us to be in the competition for the domestic projects on application development for the handheld on the Windows mobile platform", he added
