BoI to install more ATMs in AP

VISAKHAPATNAM: Bank of India (BoI) is planning to set up ATMs shortly at Vijayawada and Guntur.

This was stated by Mr J.R.V. Prasad, zonal manager, BoI, at a function to mark the setting up of the first ATM here on Monday. The ATM was inaugurated by Mr S.K. Sarawagi, the Managing Director of Sarawagi Private Ltd.

Mr Prasad said three new branches had been opened during the current financial year at Tenali, Palcole and Bhimavaram. The bank had lent Rs 504 crore during the year through its 45 branches.

He said all the branches in Vizag zone had been computerised and multi-branch banking facility was available at 13 branches.
