Our Bureau

NEW DELHI: Emirates SkyCargo will start direct freighter services between Dubai and Bangalore from April 6 this year.

In a statement, the airline has said that it would operate a Boeing 747-200 aircraft, having a payload of 100 tonnes, on the new route.

The new freighter service will operate once a week and fly on the Dubai-Bangalore-Singapore route. SkyCargo currently operates a once-a-week circle service from Dubai to Singapore, which returns through Bangalore.
