Reliance MF launches power sector fund

Mumbai , March 31

RELIANCE Mutual Fund is launching its sector specific fund for the power sector, Reliance Diversified Power Sector Fund.

This open-ended fund would invest in equity or fixed income securities of power and other associated companies to tap into the growth potential of the sector, stated a company press release. This would include companies in the various segments of the sector such as power generation, transmission, distribution, trading and even financing power projects.

The initial public offer of the fund would remain open from March 29 to April 15. The units are priced at Rs 10 each and the minimum application amount is Rs 10,000, stated the release.
