Shyam Telecom transfers 27.5% stake in Hexacom to arm

Mumbai , March 31

SHYAM Telecom has transferred an equity stake of 27.5 per cent in Hexacom India Ltd to its wholly-owned subsidiary, Shyam Telelink Ltd.

The company informed the stock exchanges today that this has been done with a view to "aligning/restructuring" its investments in the cellular business. Shyam Telecom currently holds 37.5 per cent stake in Hexacom India, an unlisted company operating services in the Rajasthan circle.
