Our Bureau

NEW DELHI: Apple has unveiled a new storage system, Xserve RAID, that delivers a 3.5 terabyte capacity.

Announcing the launch, company officials claimed that the product offers the lowest cost per terabyte and better performance.

The company also announced that shipments of the Xserve G5 servers had commenced. The new series, launched earlier this year, is claimed to be the most suitable server for Unix-based applications.
