Electronics BEL turnover at Rs 2,791 cr Our Bureau
Bangalore , April 1 DEFENCE PSU Bharat Electronics Ltd (BEL) has recorded a turnover of Rs 2,791 crore (provisional) for the year 2003-04. This is an increase of Rs 283 crore over last year's turnover of Rs 2,508 crore. According to a press release by the company, the value of production for 2003-04 stands at Rs 2,790 crore, as against Rs 2,536 crore last year, an increase of 10 per cent. The estimated profit before tax is Rs 446 crore, which is an increase of 15.5 per cent over last year's figure of Rs 386 crore.
