ONGC project surpasses target

THE Krishna-Godavari (K-G) project of ONGC has surpassed targets during 2003-2004.

According to a press release , crude production during the year was 2.80 lakh tonnes against the target of 2.32 lakh tonnes and natural gas production was1,927.49 MCUM (million cubic metres) against the target of 1,923 MCUM. Gas sales amounted to 1,902 MCUM against the target of 1,837 MCUM.

Mr C. Lal, Asset Manager and Executive Director, ONGC, Rajahmundry, attributed the performance to the commitment and skill of employees. In spite of the agitation by contract employees for sometime during the year, he said, the K-G project could achieve excellent results.
