Discovery to air show on Queen Mary 2

DISCOVERY Networks India is all set to air Queen Mary 2, Birth of a Legend on April 16 at 8 p.m. bringing to the viewers the world's largest ocean liner. Using archival footage, computer graphics and time laps photography, together with visually stunning aerials shots, Queen Mary 2 tells the story of the ship, its creation from concept to completion. Measuring 345 metres in length more than 36 London buses in a row, 72 metres in height about 23 storeys and with a capacity for nearly 4,000 passengers and crew, this beautifully crafted feature seeks to bring to the viewers the beauty of this mammoth human creation. Built at a cost of $800 million, this luxury liner has six restaurants, 14 bars, a basketball court, a planetarium, a cinema hall among host of other attractive facilities.
