`Move by Sun will not create jobs in India'

Bangalore , April 3

THE job cuts announced by Sun Microsystems on Friday will directly not create any jobs in India, said a company spokesperson here on Saturday.

"No more jobs will be moved to India as a result of the job cuts announced," said Mr K.P. Unni Krishnan, Country Head (marketing), Sun Microsystems India. Sun Microsystems has close to 1,000 people in India of which over 850 people are with its India Engineering Centre in Bangalore.
