A public relations firm in Hyderabad, Solus Media, has listed scams in all 26 letters of the alphabet in a scam chart. According to its Managing Director, Mr D. Ramachandran (in picture), the chart features nearly 200 scams over the past decade involving nearly Rs 87,000 crore of public money. — A. Roy Chowdhury

Hyderabad, April 4

Solus Media, a Hyderabad based agency, has lined up a chart that highlights scams that cover all the alphabets of the English language, aimed at educating people to vote for people's representatives who are not part of these scams.

A for Ayurveda scam, B for Bofors, F for Fodder, S for Stamp and Z for Zoo scam and so on. Each scam also shows the amount swindled.

Addressing a press conference after the release of the scam poster, Mr Ramachandram of Solus Media said all the alphabets of the English language have one scam or the other and a conservative estimate shows that these scams have impacted about Rs 87,000 crore. "We hope that this would serve as a public awareness campaign and a reminder for the people. The idea struck to us when we conducted an essay writing competition for children against corruption. When these youth came up with innovative ideas such as developing a vaccine against corruption, and creating a wall between corrupt and the honest, we felt we could go about educating people against scams," he said.
