Chennai , April 5

HI-Tours, a destination marketing and MICE (meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions) marketing company with offices in Chennai and New Delhi, has been appointed as the marketing agency for the India Property Fair to be held in Kuwait on April 29 and 30.

According to a press release, the property exhibition is being organised by Al Baraem National General Trading and Contracting Company. The company has been approved by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Foreign Trade Affairs of Kuwait, to conduct exhibitions, fairs and events.

The two-day show will display a range of residential and commercial properties from Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Pune and Kochi.

Dr M.K. Ajit Kumar, Vice-President, Sales and Marketing, Hi-Tours, said that this property fair targets the top end of the non-resident Indian market in Kuwait through direct calls as well as advertising to participate in this fair. Kuwait has an Indian population of around 4 lakh, of which, 1.25 lakh are Malayalees, 85,000 are Tamilians, 35,000 Telugus, 25,000 Kannadigas and around a lakh from North India.

Dr Kumar said that builders and housing loan companies could directly access their potential clients in Kuwait. The cost of participation in the fair with stalls of size 2 metres x 2 metres would be $2,750.
