Institution of Engineers offers computer training for students

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Institution of Engineers (India), Thiruvananthapuram, proposes to conduct a computer training programme for school students at the Institution Hall here.

According to Dr K. V. Valsarajan, Chairman of the Institution, 20 hours of hands-on training with necessary theoretical inputs will be given to batches of 20 students. The programme, for which no fees is payable, will commence by the second week of this month.

Students belonging to economically weak families, as certified by Headmasters, and drawn from the sixth standard to 11th standard from schools in and around Thiruvananthapuram, are eligible for admission. Admission will be granted on a `first come, first serve' basis. Further details can be had from telephone number 0471-2330105/2333991, or from the Institution office during office hours.
