Zuari Ind gets Rs 66-cr I-T notice

Mumbai , April 6

ZUARI Industries Ltd has informed the BSE that the company has received Notice of Demand under Section 156 of the Income Tax Act, 1961 in a sum of Rs 66.02 crore for the assessment year 2001-2002.

The company said it has decided to file an appeal before the appropriate authorities to challenge the demand amounting to Rs 66.02 crore.
