Peninsular plans commodity futures trading

Kochi , April 7

PENINSULAR Capital Services, with nine years of service in the securities market, has decided to enter the commodity futures market, according to an official release here.

The Kochi-based group has formed Peninsular Multi-Comex Services Ltd (PMCS), a venture dedicated to operations in the recently launched and soon to be booming commodities and derivates segment in the country, it said.

It has taken membership in the three leading commodity futures exchanges of India viz., the National Commodities and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX), the Multi-Commodity Exchange (MCX) and National Multi-Commodity Exchange of India Ltd (NMCE).
