Thinksoft Global in pact with NSE.IT

Mumbai , April 7

THE Chennai-based Thinksoft Global Services and NSE.IT, Mumbai, have entered into a memorandum of understanding to jointly offer testing services for international securities segment.

"Around 5 to 15 bugs are found in every 1,000 software codes and testing has emerged as an important activity in the securities software segment,'' Mr Asvini Kumar, CEO, Thinksoft Global Services, told the media here on Wednesday.

Stock exchanges and related participants in the securities domain are the target segment for the service offerings provided by the joint partnership, according to Mr Sathish Naralkar, MD and CEO, NSE.IT.

The two companies plan to concentrate on developed countries in North America, Western Europe, Japan and Asia Pacific regions. They would focus on stock exchanges, broking firms and investment banking companies in these countries.

Even as the MoU would take a five to six-month period to be operational, the two companies expect to notch up revenues of $2 million in the first year of operation and $4 million the second year.
