Anchor Electrical buys out Rider

New Delhi , April 7

MUMBAI-based electrical accessories manufacturer Anchor Electrical and Electronics Ltd today announced that it has taken over `Rider', a company that makes electrical regulators and dimmers.

"The acquisition will help us expand our product range and improve our market share. The consumers too will benefit from more innovative and quality products with the combined expertise of the two companies," an Anchor release said here today.

The takeover was completed recently, the press release said, but did not disclose the value of the deal. Anchor is the leading manufacturer of switches, miniature circuit breakers and other electrical accessories.
