Six public nominees join BSE board

Mumbai , April 7

THE Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) has inducted six public representative directors, including the Tata Sons' Executive Director, Mr R Gopalakrishnan, on its board.

Mr Vijay Mukhi, an expert from IT education field, Mr Pradeep Shah, a financial services industry professional and Mr Ravi Chandran, faculty member of Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, have also joined as public nominees on the board.

Mr S Jambunathan, ex-IAS officer and former additional Chief Secretary of Maharashtra, and Mr Jagadish Capoor, Chairman of HDFC Bank, have been re-elected as public representatives, BSE said in a statement.
