SecureSynergy forays into managed services — Ties up with Sify

V. Rishi Kumar

Hyderabad , April 11

SECURESYNERGY, a technology consulting services provider, is foraying into the managed and outsourced enterprise information security services market.

It intends to tap the potential in the domestic market and the Asia Pacific region.

With operations across India, West Asia, ASEAN and Europe, the company recently appointed Sify Ltd, Internet and eCommerce solutions provider, as one of its `service providers partner for India'.

The Senior Vice-President of SecureSynergy, Mr Anil Menon, told Business Line that the demand for security services was set to grow as corporates and the Government were beginning to take cognisance of the strategic importance of securing their technology infrastructure in a connected world.

"As banks, financial services industry add new customers and move to real time transactions, they are open to security threat, which has to be constantly monitored. The security system needs regular upgradation to meet the business requirements. With managed services, they do not have to bother about security issues which are handled by an outside agency without disruption to regular work," he explained.
