New Products & Services Kodak `Photographer on Call' launched in Kochi Our Bureau
Kochi , April 12 KODAK India Ltd has announced the launch of `Photographer on Call' programme, which offers a direct link between customers and photographers accredited to Kodak, through a toll-free number. To start with, the facility will be available only at Kochi in the State. The programme is meant to extend the trust and loyalty that consumers have in Kodak to the professional photographer segment, giving them more business opportunities and access to Kodak's brand equity, a press release issued here said. "With our focus on customer convenience, we believe that the new Photographer on Call programme has created a convenient link between our customer and the photographer, which will allow the people to capture their memories in the most easy, efficient and creative manner," Mr Richard Fleming, Business Manager, Kodak South Asia, said in a statement issued here. The programme is based on market research that identified a consumer need for reliable photographers during occasions such as weddings, birthdays and other important milestones in a person's life. On dialling the Photographer on Call number, the caller is given the contact details of four photographers in his or her area. In turn the photographers are informed of the enquiry, helping to build a link between the consumer and the photographer. The consumer is free to contact and select the photographer who suits his requirements best and decide on the monetary transactions without any intervention from Kodak, the release said.
