THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: THE State agricultural awards for 2001-02 have been announced.

The Karshakothama award goes to Mr Mampuzha Mathew of Malappuram district, while the Ksheeradhara award goes to Mr C.C. James of Kozhikode district. The Nellkathir award went to the Kollengode-based Nenmeni Nellulpadhaka Pada Shekara Samiti. Besides cash prizes, the winners will receive medals and certificates, adds the release.
